In the morning of June 22, 2020, Solar Vietnam Joint Stock Company (SolarVietnam) held a ground-breaking ceremony for a combined project of mushroom farm and rooftop PV system in Hamlet 1, An Khuong commune, Hon Quan district, Binh Phuoc province. The project is invested by SolarVietnam, in coordination with the EPC contractor - Phong Bang Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company.

The project with a total capacity of 3.6 MWp is expected to be completed and put into use in September 2020. Upon operating, this agrivoltaics project will not only provide clean agricultural products but also supply an annual output of over 5.5 million kwh of renewable electricity to the local grid.
SolarVietnam has worked with leading partners in the solar industry such as solar PV panels supplier CanadianSolar, inverter supplier Huawei... on technology and construction solutions, in order to create a sustainable mushroom farming system.
